cw: Erik is one of the main villains of kingdom come: deliverance ii. he is prone to violent rage and codependently in love with his lord, Istvan Toth. (the power imbalance is HUGE,) he kills a dog in a brutal act of violence and symbolism that represents the death of his own heart. feel free to opt out, I will not tag out with him
+ first impressions
Appearance: With pale blue eyes and white-blond hair, Erik looks a little bit ghostly, and a lot intimidating. It doesn't help that he's built like an ox and over six feet tall. He frequents the color white and is more than often frowning, though when all that melts away, his age really shows.

Voice: Please watch these gays and don't read the comments: here.

Scent: Blood. Erik smells like blood, ash, and sword oil. He cares less about the blood, but he takes good care of his armor.

Demeanor: Erik does not express himself easily, and is very reserved in terms of his thoughts and feelings. He is standoffish and comes off as cold, detached, and determined. He tries to make up for a lack of experience with blind perseverance and loyalty, with complete trust in his lord that has made him who he is. Without his master, he becomes something of a rabid dog, losing all decorum and swearing vengeance on Henry of Skalitz.
+ history
Very little is known or explained in terms of details and Erik's backstory. All we know is that Istvan Toth burned his village to the ground when Erik was younger, but rather than kill him, Istvan took pity on the boy and took him in. Being trained and raised by his parents' killer, instead of seeking vengeance, at some point Erik fell in love and became wildly codependent with Istvan and has sworn his undying loyalty to him.

By the time we meet Erik, it is clear that he and Istvan are lovers. Their devotion and loyalty to one another comes off as "strange" to their own men, and those around them like to say that Isvan is "...like a father to him." Of course, Istvan Toth is a warmonger and a bandit -- wherever he goes, Erik follows at his heels, like a loyal dog.

Following Istvan's death, Erik loses all semblance of control or loyalty for Sigismund's troops, siding with them only because he wishes to hurt Henry, and have his revenge. The roles have reversed, and now Henry is the one taunting Erik for the death of his loved ones. We love to see a foil trade places with the protagonist.
+ personality
loyal patient loving reckless stubborn quiet vengeful murderous codependent

+ permissions/ooc info
Physical Affection: Erik does not express himself well and does not accept physical affection from anyone that isn't Istvan.
Violence: easiest to get out of him, Erik responds to most things violently.
Relationships: Erik is in love with Istvan Toth. No one else matters. When asked, he'll simply say that no one else could understand.
IC offensive subjects: Istvan's death. Speaking poorly of Istvan. Implying that there's something wrong with him, or that his relationship with Istvan is unhealthy (it definitely is.)

shipping. Erik is (or was) in a codependent relationship with the man who killed his parents and then raised him. He's fucked up and I love that, but he's not interested in anything else.

smut. m/m only. (hate sex with Henry is a dream)

social class. Erik is less educated than Henry, and cares less for societal norms, though he still sticks to those of the time. Men like them won't be handed anything on a silver platter, but he still serves a lord and wishes to fight his way to glory, for Istvan.

language & religion. KC:D II takes place in 1403, when Bohemia was part of the Holy Roman Empire. Erik speaks fluent Czech, understands some German, and does not speak any Latin. Despite Catholicism being prevalent at the time, Erik and has more of a "fuck society" mentality and therefore doesn't believe in the Church. He wants to be able to kill and slaughter his way through the countryside, which God is generally not cool with. Plus he's gay, so yeah, no.
